Volunteer at Our Pet Adoption Center
Our pet adoption center is located inside That Fish Place-That Pet Place. We depend on dedicated volunteers to help us rehome animals. This means assisting with feeding, cleaning, monitoring and other tasks that allow us to expand our open hours to reach more people that want to adopt a pet.
Foster Cats and Kittens
Fostering is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. Fostering cats, kittens or a whole litter is critical to our success. We are currently completely foster-based. Without cat fosters, we could not save so many pets every year and find them loving new homes.
Help at Rescue Fundraising Events
Our animal rescue particpates in numerous fundraising events throughout the year. These events generate a significant portion of our donations and allow us to save more animals in our community. We are always in need of help with these events whether it is assisting to setup, tear down or just promoting what we are doing.
Provide Animals with Transportation
Transporting pets to and from vet appointments or to and from adoption events. Fosters families aren’t always available to bring in their pets during adoption hours and are happy for the help.
Organize Pet Supply Drives
If your organization, social group, or place of employment is looking for a way to be involved, gathering much-needed supplies is a huge help! This is something that can be done one time or on a regular basis. Many kids enjoy asking for donations in lieu of gifts for their birthday parties. Whatever you choose to do is very helpful and greatly appreciated!
